Elvis the Way it Was are back at Electric Picnic

The Trailer Park stage at the Electric Picnic – See us there this Sunday at 2.05pm

Elvis the Way it Was are back at the Electric Picnic this weekend when we take to the Trailer Park stage for the lunchtime slot, or breakfast time for festival goers, at 2.05pm on Sunday.

We love the Trailer Park stage having played there consistently every second year for the last 8 years. Situated in a crazy little corner on the right hand side of the main gate, it is made up of an enclave of containers, cabins and installations surrounding the stage itself.

This show promises to be even more special this year as we gear up towards the full 68 Special show in December by putting in a few new songs to get your dancing feet moving for Sunday at the Picnic. All 13 of us will squeeze up onto the stage and bash out an Elvis shaped racket for an hour to wipe the sleep from your eyes and get you ready for the day ahead.

And if you fancy it we will be back again at the Trailer Park later that evening for a soiree in Cathy Davy’s ‘My Lovely Ranch’ at 7pm. Can’t make any promises on how many of the band are still standing at that stage but sure come along and find out!

So if you are one of the lucky ones with tickets to this year’s picnic, why not set your alarm for 1.30pm and head on down to the Trailer Park for some serenading from the great Elvis songbook!
